Infinitus: When strings rhymes with beatboxing

Infinitus is a critically-acclaimed beatboxing string trio known for their unique sound and upbeat performance style. With a repertoire featuring classical standards and original jazz/hip-hop arrangements and compositions, the company formed in 2008 is quickly becoming one of North America’s premier chamber groups. Violist Anthony Cheung, cellist Alex Cheung (yes, they are twins) and violinist John “Adidam” Littlejohn are based in Vancouver. Collectively, the members hold degrees from the University of Michigan and the Peabody Conservatory and have won awards at the local, national, and international level. They have performed extensively throughout North America, presenting community performances, soloing with orchestras, and conducting master classes, workshops, and seminars. Infinitus is truly dedicated to quality outreach.

“Infinitus was WAY beyond expectations. The way they related to the kids, their energy, their sense of humour, their music. One of the best performances we’ve ever seen in over 30 years…”
