Musical Tales and Adventures
The award-winning Razzmatazz for Kids has been delighting young audiences for 25 years with their original children’s music and traditional songs in English and French. Their interactive, joyful concerts engage students with singing, wordplay, and actions. Volunteers are invited to play shakers and spoons to accompany the little wooden “limberjack” dancer. All concerts begin with the story of the Acadian settlement in Nova Scotia, with grateful acknowledgement to the Mi’kmaw people. The English and Bilingual Concerts are actually Trilingual, with songs in English, French, and Hebrew, reflecting Thomas’ Acadian heritage and Sandy’s Jewish roots, with messages of inclusion and perseverance. The French Concert features all French songs.
