Together 

Together is an interactive educational musical show based on songs about social emotional growth focusing on inclusion, belonging, kindness, empathy, sharing, being oneself, self-confidence, and friendship. As a lifelong musician and teacher, Heather has embedded learning and growth opportunities into every song for children of various ages, and ensures each show is tailored to the specific age group in attendance. Time for questions, discussion, interaction, and movement is interspersed throughout for maximum engagement. Educational materials are available for teachers before the experience to prepare, and additional follow-up activities are also provided.

The artist can provide a sound system or use the one existing in the space if applicable. A large screen and projector will be setup up a few feet back into the space. Approx. 20' w x 10 d space is required for the stage area.

About Heather Feather
Heather Feather is a Kindie (Kids + Indie) Artist from Mt. Pearl, NL, based in Montreal, QC. She is the 2025 East Coast Music Awards winner of Children’s Artist of the Year, and a 2026 Canadian Folk Music Awards Nominee for Children’s Album of the Year. Her toe-tapping music, energetic personality, and highly interactive shows will have everyone singing along. Her “Songs for Growing” (2022) is a “delightful songs and potent melodies.” Heather’s second album, “Together” (June 2025), an upbeat mix of funk, pop, and jazz tunes on the themes of inclusion, acceptance, and belonging, offering an inclusive musical world where every child feels seen, celebrated, and empowered. Crafted with intention, intelligence, and a touch of magic, her songs resonate deeply with listeners of all ages. Heather holds a PhD in Music Theory from McGill University, is a Member of the Board of Directors of The Children’s Music Network, and is a speaker/representative for RAMPD, Recording Artists and Music Professionals with Disabilities. Heather performs at libraries, large festivals, and everything in between, in Montreal, across the East Coast of Canada, and in Brooklyn, NY.
